Thanks brexiteers who made this exploitation possible!

Bl : Tony Croome absolutely. I have not seen my kids for 18 months+ , travelling is now a luxury for rich people and Peter cannot travel ! Well done ” in the name of British Sovereignty”!. What the f does it mean ???

Ch ; In all probability this goes way beyond Europe, this is a global state of affairs B. To be fair there’s a lot that’s pretty cool about England, so an occasional positive would be appreciated

Blandine :Charlotte Howard do you really mean this? I have the very strong feeling that you have been misinformed about the whole saga. All imported items will see an increase of 20%. And of, I had forgotten, the great current British government gave self employed people the generous help of £1300 Every 4 months during the pandemic. I cannot be positive Charlotte, when my pension plan accumulated over 45 year’s lost 35% of its value during the night of the referendum, (£ went from 1.40 to 1.10 in a few hours and regained 5p in 3 years) , the so called ” divorce” is costing 5.3 billions on top of covid and what has it gained? What is exactly “Sovereignty”? The distilled versions of the idea of sovereignty needs to be explained by the specialists. I can put you in touch with a couple. To push this further, Schools in Central London ( private , state etc) have lost many pupils- to be clear just at the Lycée, 500 last year and at least the same number next year -. Is this sovereignty? Capitals have fled, businesses are closing. And since the new PM has arrived, what do you say about the 1% rise of NHS workers? BREXIT was going to sort that out. Has it? I am afraid England no longer is the well balanced , moderate, inclusive country it once was, the country where many of us felt at home more than in our countries of origine. Sorry Charlotte but your innocent comment makes me lose my calm because ” us”, the foreigners, are no longer welcome here. 45 year’s of doing my bit and paying taxes, contributing completely to the way of life, and I have to fight to get citizenship? ( Another negative story) .

Bl : Charlotte Howard I am not talking about probabilities. I am talking about reality. The reality of England.

Ch : This world has some distinct challenges to face now & in the future. I am simply thankful for the blessings. People have taken their lives, people have lost their homes during COVID & during the financial crisis, Greece being badly hit! This affects every person of every nationality of every creed.

Charlotte Howard I totally agree and I am very thankful for having been able to get Peter protected early on, and in France actually! But it does not erase the wrong doings of this current government which was elected on a frenzy of populism and straight forward lies. if there are any flaws in the EU, it is not by cutting the UK off that they will be solved. Let us look around and what the exploitation of populism by governments has done in the past and now, currently. What is going on here right now is the reality and it is not the England where I built my life. Refugees being sent back 50 years after having arrived just to point out one specific example. I find it very depressing. Note “England”. I don’t include Scotland( where I have family ties), Wales and NI. I will not be surprised nor shocked if and when they break away. The whole UK being “led along” by a group of rich “kids” who run their immense wealth from the fiscal paradises and do not pay taxes? Are you aware that the protection of their own hidden wealth was the prime reason for Brexit? P personally dealt with of this kind of individual who sold a false company for £5 to an unknown company in the Bahamas and received a fake loan from the same fake company for 5 millions, twenty minutes later. All done well and proper by an adversary lawyer and information collected by Freedom of Information Act. Not an invented story. The EU wanted to open those hiding places, as they did with Switzerland where they caught and taxed the cheaters what they should have paid. Many in the government of France had to resign and pay.
The problem here is that there is no limit to lies and cheating, that governments are never punished and helped by the high level of corruption. What the solution is, I don’t know.
Only people with a property in the EU were allowed to travel during the pandemic. Why? The law was brought into force for Bojo’ s father. They admitted it publicly and even on TV. To them, £600 for tests is nothing. For small fish like me, it represents half of the. “grant” ( not a gift) of £1300 that I received for a period of 4 months. Total £2600 taxable. And this is the ” help” that they were bragging about? Really? In France, Italy, Spain, the tests are free. They are organised by the equivalent of the NHS. Here, profit goes to private companies, friends of our government. It has been exposed in newspapers. Has anything happened? NO. Despair

Ch : I love you Blandine. Private message I did not vote to leave 🧐

Bl : Charlotte Howard I would still love you even if you had! I don’t mix politics and religion with affection or I would have never loved your mum the way I always will.

Florence : Oh je te sens très en colère… 😩

Bl : Florence Paille-Ardilly je pleure
